Hey there,
Let’s chat.
Let’s chat about the fact that there’s a little something something you’ve been wanting to do for awhile now.
It’s been calling your name.
It’s been tantalizing you with desire and fantasy.
It’s been keeping you up at night… or haunting your dreams.
Whatever “it” is doesn’t really matter.
Except that it matters more than anything.
For awhile now, I’ve been wondering what my “free space” is. You know, like in the game Bingo?
Every single person on this planet has a free space… something they’re inherently good at without any effort at all.
Most of the time we take our free space for granted, in search of the other spaceson the bingo chart that didn’t come with us at birth.
Recently, I finally figured it out…
I’m excellent at giving people permission to do what they REALLY want to do.
When my cousin had an opportunity to change her entire life by picking up and moving to Alaska — she came to me.
When my friend wanted to quit her high-paying job and focus on her side-business full time — she came to me.
When anyone wants to travel, get outside their comfort zone, or do something other people might deem a little “crazy” — they come to me.
This free space means that I get to lead the way… by following my gut intuition and sometimes acting a little “crazy”, when something bigger than me calls me to:
:: Starting to solo-travel at the age of 11 (and never stopping)
:: Ignoring boys + booze in middle school to read historical fiction instead
:: Ditching a second minor to study abroad for 2 semesters instead of 1
:: Moving to Bolivia instead of getting a “safe” job
:: Deleting my entire business when it no longer felt good, despite making money and finding “success”
There’s something you’ve been wanting to do, love.
But you’re worried it might seem a little “crazy”… or what they’ll think… or how you’ll feel… or that it might be hard…
Most of all, you’re wondering if it’s worth it.
You’re reading this right now because I’m here to tell you:
It. Is. Worth. It.
It might genuinely be crazy. People might think things. You might feel strange. It will probably be hard.
And it will still be worth it.
You, my dear, are worth it.
You’re worthy of whatever your desire is.
So go do it. Be it. Make it.
Then comment below and tell me about it — because those are my ab-soul-ute FAVORITE stories.
In love and guts,
p.s. Did this post make you think of someone who’s on the precipice of a decision that could change their life? Share it with them for encouragement to follow their heart, because the world could use more people who follow their heart.
