I woke in a panic, fresh off a dream that I was behind on just about every project in my life, swatting at the air next to me where the disruptive noise was coming from. My phone was literally next to my face – talk about a rude wake up call.
Instead of breathing a sigh of relief and thinking, “Oh, it was just a dream.” – I snatched at the source of noise and quickly went through my morning routine.

Disappointment reigned supreme. People needed things from me, and yet no one had sent me $1 million dollars overnight.
Stress came to say hello. Those projects really did need to be further along. The nightmare was my reality. I was already behind…
I’m sure you can relate to my story, of waking up feeling like you’re already behind, already disappointed, and already fatigued from the day. Well, this next part is about how I took that and turned it around.
Then I remembered listening to a YouTube of Abraham Hicks about starting your day wobble-free. As a particularly clumsy person, the title had peaked my interest, but I soon found out that the audio had very little to do with physically being a klutz, but rather a mental and emotional klutz.
You see, when you wake and the very first thing on your mind is lack, a sense of being behind already, and stress – how the hell do you think your day is going to go?
So on this day, a morning like many others, I recalled Abraham Hicks and decided to pop over to YouTube to get a little inspiration. This is the video I found:
I ended up in tears of joy and an elated feeling like no other.
While there are probably thousands of videos and audios available, they really have one message:
[bctt tweet=”Be the vibration you’d like to be and see and have and experience.”]
And being wobble-free actually means thinking good thoughts and feeling how you want to feel for as long as possible each day. To be and see and have and experience more and more good thoughts and feelings.
Hence, my morning routine was literally setting me up for failure.
Instead of getting up and focusing on lack, let’s focus on gratitude and feeling amazing for as long as possible.
What are you blessed to Have, Be, Do, and Feel? Answer that each morning and you’ll continue to feel amazing throughout the day.
I’d love to hear from you:
What is your typical morning routine? Does it set you up for success or failure? What could you do differently in order to start your day feeling amazing?
