I wasn’t making any money. 

At the beginning of my business, there had been a pretty good flow coming in as I tapped into those I knew who wanted to support me {Thank you! You know who you are!}.

Until it became painfully obvious that those same family + friends weren’t going to keep buying from me. The novelty of my new business had worn off, and I didn’t actually have anything new to offer them.

They were amazing family + friends… but they were not my ideal clients and customers.

When the money stopped trickling in, I realized that I needed to be focused on tribe growth for long term business success.

So, I created a tribe magnet, a free 21-day audio class that I called Passion, Purpose, Profit {not to be confused with a paid program I later created with the same title}.

I poured my heart and soul into this audio class… it had 21 audio lessons, 3 workbooks, and a free community of support around it… with some of my BEST tips for creating a business that creates positive change in the world and positive growth your bank account.

Sooo many people told me I was nuts for packing so much into a freebie opt-in. But to me, it wasn’t about whether it was free or not.

I knew that in order to show people the depth of what we could do in our work together, I needed to give them an experience they would never forget {including mega results!!!}.

Put care + quality into everything you do, and people will notice. You WILL start to attract the kinds of people you’re meant to work with.

Within about a month, I had doubled my email list from 200 to 400… and then continued to use my system to build and grow my community.

The year that I put my Passion, Purpose, Profit tribe magnet in place, I doubled my income from the year before.

And since then, I’ve gotten really clear on my entire system around creating an opt-in that works, what I call a Tribe Magnet System.

Oh, and this year I’m on track to grow 400% from last year because of that very same Tribe Magnet System.

Today we’re going to dive into steps #3-5 of the system that has been responsible not only for my incredible business growth, but is also the basis of my $5 5-Day Grow Your List Action Challenge, which is taking the biz world by storm with results + rave reviews.

Step Three: FROM BIG MISTAKE TO NUGGET OF GOLD

I’m about to drop some serious wisdom that sooooo many people miss out on.

The most golden web page you have at your disposal is one that you’re probably ignoring or using a “standard template” for. BIG MISTAKE!

It’s not your landing page. It’s not your tribe magnet itself.

It’s the THANK YOU PAGE! Make absolute sure that you’re welcoming people with what you want their first impression of you + your brand to be.

• Do you have any extra goodies you want to gift people who join your list?
• Do you have a discount for first-time subscribers on an sweet product that will help them get even better results?
• Do you want to share your enthusiasm for them joining your tribe with an awesome dancing gif?

PUT IT ON THAT PAGE. {For more ideas on this + tech help on how to make it happen, make sure to join the challenge.}

Step Four: THE WELCOME WAGON

This step goes in line with the last, but you want to make sure that you’re welcoming people into your community from the moment they cross the threshold of your biz {hint: crossing the threshold = joining your list}.

You can do this with an automated welcome email that is sent to everyone who opts-into your list.

Step Five: BORING + UNSEXY

The boring + unsexy step is probably the most important.

Once you’ve got your:

• Tribe Magnet
• Landing Page
• Thank You Page
• Welcome Email

You need to make sure that they all fit together properly with the tech you’ve got goin’ on.

I can’t say this enough… MAKE SURE YOU TEST YOUR SYSTEM!

Test it yourself. Get your team to test it. Get your mom to test it.

Make sure that when someone lands on your landing page and opts-in, they get what you promised to their inbox. {I can’t tell you how many times I’ve missed this step. It’s no bueno.}

And thennnn you can start shouting to the world about your new tribe magnet 🙂
